Guess the Number is the first iPhone app that Kate made. As a former elementary math specialist, she has lots of ideas about iPhone applications for kids. This scenario is for when you’re kid is in the backseat of the car or sitting in a waiting room bored, and you give them your iPhone to play some games. Guess the Number is about building basic number sense. It’s around a first grade level. Older people like it but it gets old pretty quickly. It’s a lot more challenging if you’re still building your number sense. For younger kids, they really have to think about what numbers are bigger than 26 and smaller than 37…

great game with kids!
sometimes you lost track of the number given by the one before.
- it would be great if you could display a history of the number guessed or “You guessed 25. try something between 25 and 50″
- also to allow a choice of the levels.
